ASP, XML, Reciprocal DCS 2.0, Microsoft® Windows NT Server 4.0, HTML.
Reciprocal provides secure digital rights management services. Its technology is focused on the secure and easy packaging, sale and distribution of digital content.

Reciprocal asked Standpipe to optimize critical user experience components of their Digital Clearing Services 2.0 (DCS 2.0) system, the market's first fully-functional clearinghouse solution for selling digital content on the Internet. Reciprocal then asked Standpipe to integrate the technology into existing, third party e-commerce sites.
| Standpipe's user interface team analyzed the existing user experience for purchasing, delivering and activating a digital download via DCS. (From the user perspective, an example of this process would be a user buying the right to listen to a specific musical track, and downloading the track). Elements that were inefficient, unfriendly or confusing to users were identified. A more usable ordering and fulfillment process was proposed, |
then implemented. The resulting optimized DCS user interface was then seamlessly integrated into existing e-commerce sites for Sony and other entertainment industry clients.
